Purpose(목적)
The Skilled Worker Category of the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) is intended for skilled occupations for which formal education and/or specialized training is required.

Criteria for skilled worker category occupations (includes but is not limited to):(자격조건)
The National Occupational Classification (NOC) Code defines these occupations as Skill Level 0, A or B.

NOC Skill Levels:
NOC Skill Level 0
Legislators, Senior and Middle Management occupations. Occupations usually require a university degree (bachelor's, master's or doctorate) or a professional designation.

NOC Skill Level B
Occupations usually require two to three years of post secondary education at a community college, institute of technology or a CEGEP.

Aircraft instrument and avionics mechanics (항공 기계 전자 공학가)
Architectural technicians and technologists (건축 기술자)
Computer and information systems technicians (컴퓨터 정보 시스템 테크니션)
Construction estimators ( 건축 견적가)
Engineering and industrial technicians/technologists (엔지니어링, 산업 기술자)
Graphic arts technicians (그래픽 아트 기술자)
Health, medical and veterinary technicians/technologists (핼스, 의약, 수의 기술자)
Land survey and mapping technicians/technologists (땅 측량 기술자)
Mining technologists (광산업 기술자)

NOC Skill Level B: Skilled trade (무역관련 기술직)
Occupations usually require 18 to 72 months of apprenticeship training resulting in trade certification. (18~72개월의 트래이닝 수료증이 주로 필요로한다.)

Trade occupation information
For Compulsory Certification Trades in Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) Candidates must be certified journeypersons in their trade.

For Optional Certification Trades in Alberta, the AINP requires that PN Candidates be certified journeypersons in their trade from their home country or have obtained the minimum work experience requirements as set out by Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training.

For trade or trade related occupations not designated as compulsory or optional trades by Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training (for example, Plasterers and Drywall Installers), please note that eligibility requirements may apply relating to length of mandatory relevant work experience and training required in that occupation.

Please note that the AINP will not nominate individuals in the apprenticeship stage.

Occupation association information
Many occupations in Alberta require an individual to be a registered member with the related association/institute/board. For example, physicians must be registered with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta. Please ensure that the applicable membership or registration is obtained prior to submitting an application to the AINP.
