2009년 4월 1일 부터 모든 기술 독립 이민 신청서는 캐나다 노바스코샤에 있는 시드니로 신청 하게 되었습니다.

이곳에서 1차 심사를 받고 skilled worker 카테고리로 가능 하다고 판단 되어 지면 신청서와 보충 서류들을

해당 visa office 로 보내 시면 됩니다.

기존에 38개 직종만 이런 방식으로 처리 했었지만 4월 1일 부터는 모든 기술직 독립이민 이 이렇게 진행 됩니다.

처리 기간은 총6개월 에서 1년이 걸릴것으로 예상 됩니다.

Applying as a skilled worker
Applications for permanent residence under the Federal Skilled Worker Class can be submitted by foreign nationals who are skilled workers and professionals.

New: All applicants in the Federal Skilled Worker Class, must submit their initial application to the Centralized Intake Office in Canada as of April 1, 2009.

There are three categories under the Federal Skilled Worker Class:

Category 1: For persons in an occupation which corresponds to the list of occupations identified in the Ministerial Instructions and have evidence of one year of continuous full-time (or full-time equivalent) experience in that occupation;
Category 2: For persons who have arranged employment offer with a Canadian employer; or
Category 3: For students or workers who are legally residing in Canada, and have done so for at least 12 months immediately before submitting their application.
