Of the five masterpieces, Chunhyangga is the favorite among Koreans, starting with the words 'Sarang sarang nae sarang eoheo dungdung nae saranga', which literally mean 'Love, love my love, oh! my love.' It is a song celebrating the eternal bond of love between the hero Yi Mongryong(李夢龍) and the heroine Seong Chunhyang(成春香). Starting clearly and openly, the rhythms are very slow, but they change little by little into a lively and exciting beat. The process is a musical depiction of the shy start of love developing into a deep ex-pression of feeling.

Pansori has been loved by Koreans for a long time. To the simple depiction of the drama by a singer and a drummer with chanting and beating, the audience responds with great empathy, sometimes pleased, sometimes saddened, sometimes agitated.
