저의 꿈은 중학교 수학선생님 입니다.

원래 저의 꿈은 외교관이었지만 외교관이 되려면 기본과목으로 배우고 있는 영어 뿐만이아니라 많은 세계국어를 해야하는데 영어는 커녕 다른 언어도 제대로 알지 못하는 내가 뭘 하겠느냐는 생각이 들었습니다.

외국인만봐도 움츠러드는 내가 외고관을 꿈꾸다니.

그래서 저는 중학교 선생님이라는 꿈을 가지게 되었습니다.

지금 배우고 있는 학교과목들 중에 제가 그나마 잘 하는 과목인 '수학'은 초등학생때는 매우 싫어하는 과목이었습니다.

아마도 그 이유는 선생님의 영향인 것 같습니다.

수학을 싫어하는 데도 계속 수학을 공부해야하는 이유를 몰라서 답답했고, '차라리 수학보다는 다른 과목을 잘했으면' 하는 생각도 간절했습니다.

하지만 중학교에 올라와보니 수학때문에 성적이 아주 많이 내려가는 아이들도 있다는 것을 알았고, 난 정말 축복받은 사람 이라는 생각이 들었습니다.

그 후 제가 만난 수학선생님을 보며 중학교 수학선생님의 꿈을 키윘습니다.

제가 중학교 수학선생님이 된다면 학생들의 마음을 어떤 선생님들보다 잘 헤아려 주는 친구같은 다정한 선생님이 되고 싶습니다.
