Communities in England have started creating ‘citizen spy’ networks to help stop crime.

Volunteer spies report minor crimes like littering and noise pollution and more serious crimes like robbery.

자원봉사 스파이들은 쓰레기투기나 소음공해같은 사소한범죄부터

The volunteer spies are trained by police to collect evidence.

자원봉사자들은 증거를 수집하는것을 경찰에게 훈련받았다

Some volunteers are children as young as seven years old.

몇몇자원봉사자중에는 7살처럼 어린아이들이었다

They are given special notebooks to write down information that might help police.

The communities believe that the networks have already reduced crime.

However, some people disagree with the idea of “citizen spies” because they think that only police should be stopping crime.
