대한민국의 노 전대통령이 사망하다





The ex-president, embroiled in a bribery scandal, suffers head injuries in a fall. Some reports say

he left a suicide note.

뇌물 스캔들에 연루된 노 전대통령은 떨어지면서 머리에 부상을 입었다. 몇몇 뉴스들은 그가 자살이전에 유서를

남겼다고 보도했다.



Reporting from Seoul - Former South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun, a former human rights lawyer who was under investigation for allegedly accepting millions of dollars in bribes during a five-year term

in office that ended last year, died today after a fall near his home outside the southern city of Busan, police said.

서울에서의 보도- 인권변호사였고 작년에 끝난 5년임기동안에 수백만불의 뇌물을 수수했다는 혐의로 조사를 받던 대한민국 전대통령 노무현은 오늘 부산시 남부에 있는 그의 집 근처에서 실족을 해서 사망했다고 경찰은 발표했다.



Roh, 62, had been on early morning-hike with an aide. News reports said he was found unconscious and suffering from a severe head injury about 6:50 a.m. He was pronounced dead hours later.

62세인 노씨는 비서관과 함께 아침 일찍 산책을 했었다. 뉴스보도에 의하면 노무현전대통령은 오전 6시50분경에의식불명상태로 발견되었고 머리에 심한 부상을 입은 상태였다고 한다. 그가 몇시간후에 사망했다는 것이 발표

되었다.



The Yonhap news agency reported that Roh had left a suicide note, but the officials did not immediately

confirm that.

연합뉴스 보도국은 노씨가 자살을 암시하는 유서를 남겼다고 보도했지만, 담당자들은 그것을 바로 확인하지 않았다.



The office of Roh's successor, Lee Myung-bak said it was investigating the death and declined to

comment. " We are still trying to find out the exact cause of his death and will make an official response

after we make a complete assessment of the incidnet," and unidentified official told reporters. An autopsy was pending.

노전대통령의 후임자인 이명박 대통령은 노무현 전대통령의 죽음에 대해서 조사하고 있다고 말했고 더 이상의

언급을 거부했다. "우리는 여전히 그의 죽음에 대한 정확한 원인을 밝혀내려고 노력하고 있으며 우리가 이 사건

에 대해 완전히 조사를 마친 후에 공식적인 응답을 할 것입니다." 고 신원이 밝혀지지 않은 (익명의) 담당자가

리포터(보도기자)들에게 말했다. 부검은 아직 결정되지 않았다.



But Yonhap quoted Moon Jae-in, the representing Roh in the bribery case, as saying the former "jumped off the mountain." near his home while being escorted by a bodyguard and had "left a brief

death note for the family."

하지만, 연합뉴스는 뇌물사건에서 노측을 대변하는 문제인 변호사가 "노 전대통령이 그가 경호원에게 호위를 받는 동안 그의 집 근처의 뒷산에서 투신했고 그의 가족에게 간략한 유서를 남겼다" 는 말을 인용했다.



Television news stations said the area where Roh was hiking was not known as particularly steep or

treacherous.

텔레비젼 뉴스 방송국들은 노씨가 산책을 한 지역은 특별히 가파르거나 부실한 곳으로 알려진 곳이 아니라고

보도했다.
